For Deepavali, we decided to escape the smoke and head for the land down under. From Singapore to Perth it only takes 4.5 hours so we were anxious to head south for a little break. We arrived to beautiful weather and didn't know where to begin so we headed up north to AQWA or the aquarium of western Australia. It is a small aquarum but had some really nice exhibits and one of the largest underwater tunnels in the world. There were beautiful sharks, turtles, fish and sting rays swimming over our heads as we made our way through the tunnel. I have to say watching the sting rays as they swam above me was sad...I will miss Steve Irwin and his crazy antics.
